The end of defining ‘Services 2.0′ on this blog

You’ve nailed it on the software development side. No longer does it make sense to shut the books on an old version of the software, hole up for 6 months and code away and then launch a new “ta-da!” version.

Incremental changes and updates ensure that you don’t alienate anyone and that you are constantly (weekly, monthly) delivering a better product.
